Maxange Caves, discovered in August
2000 at Le Buisson de Cadouin ( Dordogne -Périgord).
The tour of the caves is very easy, due to the fact that there are
no abrupt variations in level.
The unique concentration of calcite formations makes the
site the only one of its kind in the world.
 The
cave lighting has been done with the utmost care, and the most up-to-date
techniques have been used to create a spectacular display that brings
out the magical effect of light playing on the crystallizations.
Ample car parking has been provided, a children’s play-area,
as well as a reception centre with bar and gift shop. |
